String Quartet No. 1 on Viet Themes 
Written for the Musaica Composer Workshop
String quartet based on Vietnamese themes and performance practices. Often sparse and athletic, with lots of fast hocketing. Some aleatoric and meditative moments, with slower and more lyrical passages throughout.
Programmatic; a story of a boy and his father.
3 movements – 16 minutes total.
In Praise of a Body [2016; rearranged in 2018]
Piano and violin, viola, flute, clarinet, or comprable treble inst.
Rearrangements of Elegio de mi Cuerpo for instruments. Love letters to different body parts. Movements can be chosen, excluded, and rearranged depending on the instrument/player.
Spring  for Wind Quintet
Written for the Loyola Ballet Theatre.
Mostly peppy and sprite-like, with occasional moments of slow, calm groove. Calmer middle section has a long crescendo into an energetic recap and coda.
Preludes for Piano [2016 – ongoing]
Sogni d’oro – “Dream of gold…” – sweet and lightly sweeping melody, lyrical and intimate.
Sfumato – “To make smokey”, an art term – harmonically smokey, bitonal accompaniment with a rhythmic, pop-like melody.
